Q. I was wondering if i should get a monroe peircing or not? I already have my nose peirced and im in love with it and then i saw the monroe on a girl the other day and it looked really cute. Should i get one? answers from guys & girls would be great.

How long can I take my Monroe Peircing out before it starts to heal?

A. i wouldnt do it for more than a few hours, my girl has the same problem at work when she has to take it out, so i would say where a retainer instead of completely removing it.

A. I had my nose piercing and currently have my monroe piercing. They didn't hurt for me. It depends on the person. If you can't handle pain and is scared then don't do it.

I have a monroe peircing and some extra skin has formed around the inside of the piercing.What do i do?

A. Uhh neither!!! You need a labret stud: https://secure.techxpress .net/leroi.com/images/upl oads/ss_ls.jpg But if you're getting it done professionally the piercer should have the jewelry there and tell you what to get. You need to make sure it is bigger than you'd normally want it because there will be some swelling and it could possibly suck in the jewelry into your lip which would have to have cut out. After 2 weeks you can change it to a shorter one, just go back and buy new jewelry. Don't bother buying jewelry on your own, the piercer will have some. dont do it yourself either.

How bad does a Monroe peircing hurt and how do I know if it will look right on my face?

My b-day is 6 days away and my husband is willing to pay for it for my b-day but I need some reassurance that it will look ok and is it possible for them to do it a bit lower then usual I think some are too high on the face~ How bad does it hurt? I have done my tongue & nose so is it worse then those?

A. most piercers will not perform an oral piercing when the potential client has braces. there are just too many risks of either the braces messing up the piercing, the piercing messing up the braces, or both. of course, I'm sure you can find some places that will, but I would seriously question the judgment of any piercer who places doing the piercing ahead of what is best for the client

A. no thats normal. you want to give it some space so your lip has circulation. you dont wanna make the bar shorter because itll be to tight. if its really bothering you then i guess you could change it. you should wait a little longer though because the pierce is still healing. hope i helped

A. i think rounder or heart shaped faces look better with the marilyn piercing. and i would take out the eyebrow ring, for a number of reasons. yes, i do think it would be too much metal, and i also think the marilyn is a classier piercing than the eyebrow.

how can you make a peircing scar go away? like a lip or monroe peircing?

A. Every shop is different. It can go from $20 to $60 depending on where you go. Normally they're about $25, $30. (By the way, they shouldn't charge separate for the jewelry like someone else posted. If they do, I'd go to a different place. And the jewelry generally costs $5-$10 anyways, not $30).
